Reef Octopus "POV" PRO-SSS-DC1 thoughts?

Its at my house now. Will try to get at least a pic tonight. Wont be able to mess with it till tomorrow.

Real quick shots, the other skimmer is rated for 200 gallons also. This thing is pretty small. Kinda bummed about the small collection cup. Its just breaking in now. got some decent micro bubbles in the tank. I just threw it in there, no vinegar bath. Will get a formal review up tomorrow. Pump is very quiet, quieter than the BB3000 and that is a pretty quiet pump.

Yeah it does look alot smaller than I thought. You were running a beast of a skimmer though. Will like to see how it compares to it. Thanks for the pics.

image.jpg. Dc3. It's big but better shaped for my sump than the 5000sss I had. I have it running on light 4. I'm not sure if I should run pump wide open or leave it powered down a bit. This is going to be fun playing with. I put big bottle of rum in there for reference.

Hard to tell with the octo line cause the outlet water makes so much noise. I can tell you I don't hear any pump noise. My equipment is in garage so noise is a non issue.

Speed three. Set up last night and no foam this morn? But just got home form work and had a nice head of foam and the bubbles in neck have stabilized. Bubbles where very turbulent last night in the neck but now look to be settled down a bit. It's sixty here in Kansas City today so I'm heading out for bike ride will post some pictures when home.
