Reefbreeders/(Evergrow OEM) Fixtures D120/IT20** series

So if i order the fixtures in the next few days I'll get the updated layout with the neutral whites? And i know you mentioned something about adding aluminum heats inks. I is it possible to do that now at an extra cost? If it meant longer life I'd probably kick in extra.

Yes, we added nuetral whites. The current layout is on the site

Yes, you will get the new layout. We will see what the options are for heat sinks tonight.

thanks Ron. I am going to modify yours a little bit as I like to enjoy my lights after I get home from work instead of in the morning when I am running out the door!

Tax check here, let me know on the heatsinks asap as I'm ready to order. Also do you have any pics of the new layout over a tank? All I have to compare to currently is the vid from RSC on youtube. You guys should definitely get some videos up like that!

Also, could anyone here that has one of these get some measurements for me? I'm building the canopy and light rack for my 180 this weekend and would like to get the measurements of the distance between the mounting plugs (or whatever they're called) on the top of the fixture as well as the distance between the edge of the fixture and the opening for the lights (basically the black lip). I'm trying to determine the best way to mount these in a canopy.

this is how I mounted it. but i think its too high up

Curt,

My canopy is 14" tall and all I did was drill holes in the top and ran the adjustable wire up thru the hole and used the 'D' clip on the top of the canopy. My lights are about 7" off the water surface.

I'll try. My DSLR does not shoot video.

@ReefBreeders. Do you ship to Europe?

Yes, we ship world wide. It does cost extra outside of the USA.

Thanks for the info, that definitely helps. I'm thinking about going with a 12" canopy (10-11" usable) mainly because I can use one 4 x 8 sheet of Oak plywood for the whole canopy, lol. I should be able to use the same idea for mounting that you have though and just mount them a little closer to the top. I think as long as there was plenty of room for the fans to get air they should be fine.

Allright, who's had these running over their tank the longest??? 1month? 2 months? 3 months?
Just curious to see how they grow sps and how the colors look. If you get some pics, post em! I may choose these over the Razor or T5's.
Are you getting T5 pop????

Thanks

It's an Ocean Motion OM4 CL system with 3 of their revolution heads and 1 nozzle. And my sump return goes thru a SCWD and then down the back glass behind the LR wall in 2 big square shaped 'S' pattern. The pipes are drilled and they spray the water out from behind the rocks, first the left side and then the right, switching back and forth every 20-30 seconds. You should have seen the tank plumbed before the LR and sand went in! :fun4:

Ahhhhh, mister fancy pants!!! Changing your name again to Flow Hoe..................LOL

That's Mister Flow Hoe to my friends. Now that I have a Chinese Jebao WP40 controlable powerhead (4500gph) in the tank as well! It flows as strong as a Vortech MP40 and looks like a Tunze but instead of $450 or $330, it only cost $105 delivered. :bounce3::bounce2::bounce1:
