Id like a Phoenix 14k look when the lights are at full daylight mode. They mention using only 4500k neutral whites and since I've never seen them it seems too yellow sounding in name alone. What are the feeling about the neutrals?
My first fixtures use 6,500 and 8,500 k LEDs and I though they were to yellowish for me and I switched to 10 & 14k LEDs which I think reduced the PAR but gave me the look I like. I also reduced the number of whites some due to their washing out of blues - now a 3 (b, r, g & v) - 1 white ratio. At 100% each channel I have a light blue (20k ?) look. Of course you can play with the percentages to change the look.
PS: With the group buy prices (even the RC one) I would cost out the 2 2080's as it would look better (unless in a canopy) and you can always keep the percentages low if to much light for the 125. FYI 3 of the smaller units have around 153 - 165 LEDs and the 2080's 198 LEDs. If the 2080 is hung a few inches above the water the braces will not matter that much. Choice of optics is another important consideration.
