I am very sorry for your loss, Awilda. I hope that Larry is at peace, and enjoying a place that's better than here.

WE are all here for you if you need us one of my best friends is down with DRA and I dont like to here stuff like this so sorry I know how you feel

Thank you Larry, Harry, Jarrett, Cully! Your word are very much appreciated! It has been difficult to accept the loss.

BTW, he was not racing. He was simply traveling from his home in Jersey to the motorcycle club. The reports state that he ran a red light, but we do not believe he did.;( Might have been that he did like many of us have done when the light turns yellow, and the driver of the van did like many do. Light turns yellow we floor the gas pedal to get across before the light goes red. Light turns green, and many take off the second the light turns green. My hope is that people will stop the above practice.:(

Dear Awi, Junious, and Family,

My heart goes out to you, and I mourn for a fellow brother on the wheel. I don't ride any more, but I have 100K miles under me on two wheels. It was dangerous "out there" back then, and it's worse today. Your speculation about what really happened is right on; it's an all too common scenario.

When an old person dies it's all in the natural Circle of Life, but when a young life is cut short I get very, very, very upset. Rest in peace my brother on the wheel, LayLow.

George

Dear dear George, thank you so much for your comforting words! Very few understand what losing my little cousin/nephew is like losing one of my own boys!
Your right, when we loose our older people we feel sad, but we understand that they've lived their life, and time for them to return home is just that.
But to lose a young person with their whole life a head of them it is impossible to make sense of it.
Larry/LayLow started out in the Bklyn. projects where the whole family had to sleep in the hallway of their apt. because of the bullets that would penetrate their windows in the middle of the night. His mother got them out of their, and she raised him & his sister in the LES public housing which are nothing compared to the Bklyn one..
Larry/LayLow made sure to keep his nose clean, get his education, as soon as he was able he went to work for the NYC Public School as one the many Boiler guys. He did not stop there, he continued going to night or weekend classes aspiring to graduate as an Engineer. He also achieved some of the American dream. Two or three years ago he purchased his very own home in New Jersey which he shared with his beloved "Lisa", and their 2 dogs!

As you can see he was a young person on a mission worthy to know, and love!!!

Mike, thank you!!
