Brian - It seems like it takes forever! but things have been growing much better for me since I replaced my radiums and got rid of my calcium reactor and went to kalk. And the tank woudl stay full more if i didn't always have the clippers out!

Does anyone know the link for that tank/fish list?

So I havn't updated for a while, but everything is doing ok. I've been very busy and I am having a hard time finding time for tank maintenace. I am having trouble with algea on the rocks and the sand, the Oceans Motion isnt working so my flow is messed up and my alk is too low. Most of the corals are still doing great although my growth continues to be slow because of the the temperature im keeping my tank at for my fish.

Speaking of fish, I added about 10 new fish a few weeks ago after their quarantine treatments were completed. Im very happy about it and Im thrilled with the way they have helped fill some of the empty space in the tank. I thought I lost my beautiful rare bellae's flasher because I didnt' see him for abotu a week. i had lost hope but then one moringin he just popped out of a rock. I was exstatic. I also added a pair of Coral Sea Hooded fairy wrasses, and pair of ventralis, trio of flame wrasses, solon fariy, rhomboid, whip fin and I think that is it. They all continue to do fantastic!

So, I was hoping some of you guys could give me so help on ventaliation for my tank/fish room with summer coming up. My big 24" fan just went out on me and so did my 7" fan over the tank. I also have the 1/2hp chiller in the fish room which really heats things up!

Currently i just have the door to the fish room and the horizontal sliding window in the fish room open for air flow and a dinky 4" fart fan exhausting air outside. So, here are some thing Im thinking about...

1 - Get the fantech 8" exhaust fan which pulls 435 cfm's to constatnly eject hot air out of the fish room. Then leave the door open to pull clean fresh air from the house.

2 - get a stand alone AC unit and exhaust the air through the existing 4" duct the fart fan is running through

I thought about both but the fan would constantly pull cold air out causing both to constanly run! Stupid.

Anyone have any thoughts, comments, or ideas???

Thanks for the help!

Hey Ryan
I am also fond of fairy wrasses now since it's seems to be more resistant to ick
So far I have only powder blue tang ,leopard wrasse ,yellow wrasse and Solon Wrasse on my main tank I tried to add a large and very beautiful orange back fairy wrasse but my Solon killed it!

Next month I am planning to add
2 more yellow coris wrasse
2 red coris wrasse * Sub adult and juvenile*
2 Solon
3 lubbocks
4 orange back if I can still find some :(
3 carpenter
2 Blueside
2 flasher
1 potters
2 more leopard

They will be on my 150 gallon fish only tank with some Angels
For few weeks just to make sure they are eating but I am not medicating them
Since I have back luck with copper.

Do you think having a lot of wrasse at once will prevent aggression just like angles and tangs?

I do like to add a few fish at the same time to prevent aggression but I think if you add that many fish to your tank with the sucess and newness of your tank you will be asking for trouble. If I were you I would just take it slowly!

So should I add the fairy wrasse directly to the main tank since it's been treated with prazipro and copper from my LFS for a few weeks ?
I am not adding the Angels and tangs to the main tank until they are eating and free of any parasite
Also I am adding ozone along with my UV hopefully it helps with the ick :)
