Did you follow the instruction?
To the letter.
It does have cement in it.
I bet if left to cure outside for many hours it would bond better.

So back to my original plan, using acrylic rods and epoxy to build the structures I want.
I will use this stuff to fill in the gaps.

Yes sir I do.
But I am patient...going to do it RIGHT!

I want to hear you say that again after you get the tank and the pump

NEVER!
My wife is bugging me to go to the gym.
Be back with boring plumbing pics in a few hours.

Picture of the 1.5" strainers.
No more livestock getting caught. :)

I got a new bucket for my skimmer cup to drain into.
You can't see it in the picture but the bucket is graduated...shows the total volume being skimmed out.

Since I skim wet this helps me know how much salt water to replace keeping my salinity more stable long term. :)

The REAL plumbing nightmare.
45's, 90's and couplings to plumb the 8 way Oceans Motions...which I haven't ordered yet. :D

I like the bucket

Thanks.
And my bucket ROCKS Steve! :D

The more and more I research T5 fixtures I think I just may build my own canopy.
That way, it will be a bit cheaper and I can get a few extras that I want like moonlights, night viewing red LED's, more fans, etc.

I am going to start exploring a pulley system.
And if I go this route I will most likely build two canopy's.

Those stainers are nice i have had one on my close loop for about a mounth now. The build is starting out nice very well planned.

Sean, regarding the T5's, ATI makes a fixture called the Sunpower. It uses the same reflectors and ballasts as the Powermodule. The difference is that the SUnpower is not "finished and pretty" like the Powermodule, and the Sunpower has 1 fan per fixture (Powermodule has 1 fan per 2 bulbs). The Sunpower is designed to go inside a canopy.

At the time I bought my Powermodules, the Sunpowers were *significantly* cheaper than the Powermodules and Greg (ReefGeek) was trying to get those into the States as well. Not sure if that ever happened, but something you might want to look into?
