I was just at will's house (aquarium obsessed) for teh first time. i wanted to see the potential light fixture he sells that he has on his tank. OMG I WET MYSELF! he has no corals yet in his 700 gal L shaped tank. but its the nicest tank ive ever SEEN! i picked up 3 tunze 6105 from him and had to meet him at his house... WOW... like nothing ive ever seen,

I am kind of starting to wish I had gone with one of these tanks instead of a custom tank. I thought 30" from front to back would be enough but now I wish I had 36" :(

For me personally the height was an issue though...I don't like tanks over 24" and actually prefer something around 20". But looking back now, it would have been nice!

You think so? I am running the 250's now on my tank which has the same height. I was running 400's and found with the LB's they seared everything in the top 8-10".

:confused: no, it was just a bad joke, Jeff typed 250K above when he meant 20K ;):(
 
Jeff, I like the fishroom plans. The stand looks nice. Good idea with the shelf. I will have to stop up and take a look sometime.
 
Yeah I remember someone saying we should have a fish tank tour this summer? I think it was you Jeff that mentioned something about that ;). Looks like your house will be on the list of ones that I want to stop by and see. Great plans btw for the fish room.

I would like to put together an official tank tour for the summer. Hopefully by then, my pond will be up and running too. Lots to do and so very little time...

Thanks Tony, I am planning on running 4 eventually. Thinking 2 x 6' supers and 2 x 6' 75%.

Made more progress tonight and am hoping to get the drywall up this weekend.
 
Woot woot Pic dont do justice this Is a big fish room with a large tank in it ...even I underestimated the size of it now that walls are up GAME ON!!!....lol Ok back to my beer !!!
 
Ronni hasn't been down to see it since we started the back wall. When she sees how big it is, my guess is she won't be so thrilled. Oops!
 
Sean, I finished the rest of that corner and the side above the tank on my lunch break. We should be all set for dry wall...WOOT!

I am going to clean things up tonight and snap some photos.
