Dino's and green film algae are two totally different things.Dino's are much harder to get rid of while green film algae is not much of an issue.
With added bacteria you should see a decrease in film algae and all other algae as well. In genereal, your water will be much clearer and cleaner.
I had my good friend over yesterday and him and his wife remarked that it looked as if there was no water in the tank. Sometimes it looks as if my fish are floating in mid air!He may be adding bacteria soon.

As for getting rid of Dino's, check out my article here: http://www.rimlessreef.com/1/post/2009/04/dinoflagellates-and-the-treament-of.html
Sonny.
That was me! Those fish have wings, not fins
Toying with the idea to just to help keep thin green off the glass. Right now I have to run my magnet across every other day. My P04 goes from 0 to .01 and N03 hangs out at about 3. I run the GFO, carbon, macro and ozone....think a small dose of bac here and there may help with that?
Great thread Sunny. Thanks for taking the time to field all the questions.
