Steve's 480g upgrade 730g total Zeovit system

I just realize that i feed my skimmer too little (800gph) so i decided to bump it up to 1500gph to help processing the water a bit fast. H&S recommend to feed this skimmer 2000gph...

How are you feeding that beast Steve?

You DO NOT want to know bro. I go through a large sheet of PE Mysis like it about to go out of style :D. But my fish are happy and healthy that is more important. I will get more Rod's food to mix in with the PE for more Variety. BTW, I try to achieve 100 anthias in my tank. I may have to remove the Vlamingi...

Awesome! But i was asking about your monster Skimmer!!!

Just a quick question, im not sure if its been answered or asked already, but what settings do you run your tunze on? and on the multicontroler, if you have one? etc. Because im wondering on how to set mine (3x6105 1x6206 1x7095), and position them bla bla.. although im sure it can be done a million different ways. tank specs 10ftx2.5x2. tacking into consideration it depends on a lot of things like aqua scape.. but i really love the look of your tank and everything in it. thanks

Good morning Elias,

All my tunze's running on pulse mode on Tunze 7096 Multicontroller 30%-100% with 8 sec interval. I am not sure if i post the most updated picture of the tank but i am now having 5 tunze 6305 line up in the back wall flowing across the 48" width of the tank instead of flowing the length. Tunze 6305 have a very wide flow but very short reach. With Tunze 7095 multi controller you can set your pump on interval II and power between 30%-100% or you can have it on pulse mode for more flow.

Thanks Steve.

What do you have in place in your system to take place in case of a power outage? I really have nothing in place and given what happened to someone recently, I really need to do somehting. Im just trying to figure out what is the best route...

Ryan, i have nothing in place at this time. But i need to get a good generator before i leave the country sometime in April. I need to train my wife on how to operate the generator as well as how to work on my tank. I also have a maintenance company taking care of the tank bi-monthly . I will be leaving for 13 months so i hope my tank won't blow up by the time i get back lol

Okay. Thanks Steve. My tanks being set up in late january because im waiting for our house to get built, so look out hahaha

Id love to see a picture of the 5 Tunze line up!!

make sure to get the honda generator through a honda dealership. There is a difference in the generators between a dealship one and some others you will find.
