Temperature for Heteractis Magnifica

What is the maximum temperature for a heteractis magnifica anemone?

In have programmed my fans in 80.0F (about 26.5ºC), is it already a dangerous temperature?

not at all. mine stay between 82 and 85 regularly.

Mine are at 80, but I wouldn't worry if it went a few degrees higher.

I seem to recall OrionN saying he keeps his anemones at a higher temperature. Maybe he can weigh in? My tanks stay at around 80 during the cooler months, but 82 to 83 during the warmer ones. Mag hasn't complained and just keeps growing ..... and growing ..... and growing .....

My tank is set at 82 degree and only rarely get to 83.

I don't think it's overly critical as long as it is relatively stable. They have a huge range so different variants may vary in their preferences. That being said, a healthy mag is pretty adaptable.

The higher temp helps metabolism, most reefers seem to want it less than 83 as a max. Good discussion in the advanced topic area frequently.

Myself, 78 winter, high 82 summer.

My tank do better at at least 80 degree. Things grow faster. Within reason (below 84 degree) the temp will not cause problem but the daily fluxuation in temp can stress some animals (Xenia is really sensitive to quick raise in temp)
