Anyone have an idea on how to inject the O3 into a cc skimmer? I see a lot of reference to venturi intake skimmers. If I run one of the air lines through a generator, it will be sending a lot of air through it even when not making the O3 and thus I would need to regenerate my dryer media constantly. Could I stick some form of venturi on the pipe leading to the skimmer input and pump it there or would I be best building a O3 reactor. I do run 2 phosban reactors, 1 for carbon and 1 for phosban if that would be an option to put it there. I would think that to the skimmer would be more efficient.

Here is a relatively inexpensive ozonizer that does not require an air dryer:

I don't have any experience with this model, though.

I really don't mind using a dryer, I'm just trying to figure out how to get it in the skimmer. I'll probably diy a dryer of some sort.

Is it possible to simply put an ozone feed air stone at the bottom of a tank overflow. Principle would be similar to counter current skimmer?

Does anyone know if a milwaukee ORP controller can handle switching on and off an enlay 100 with a luft and a luft air pump. I'm trying to keep from spending the extra money on a pinpoint controller which seems to be able too handle at least twice the amps.

Thanks
Fred

Thank you. It's great to be aboard.

If I do try the idea of the air stone. What would someone recomend for fine bubble size other than a wood stone?

Thanks

YES IT WILL

Just added a Poseidon Ozonizer today and am starting on the lowest setting. Trying to be extremely patient so I don't shock anything, but how long before I should start to see the ORP creep up? I have about 80-85 gallons total water volume. Bio load isn't very heavy. 2 fish and a bunch of frags. ORP hangs around 355-360 in the am and about 335-340 by time the lights go out.

I have a MRC MR1 that I will be setting up shortly.

If you are looking for a convenient way to hook up your system contact MRC directly. I believe the port replaces the air intake on the beckett injector. They aren't expensive if you are interested. Here's the link: http://myreefcreations.com/psaccessories.htm

I'll include photos of my setup when I have it all up and running.

Just had to share, "MY TANK IS SOOOOOO CLEAR", just three days. :celeb1: The title for this thread says it all.

I have my Red Sea 100mg set at 100% without dryer. so I'm assuming my output is about 30mg for my 280g est water volume. This thing rocks.:smokin:

Well just witnessed my 1st coral spawning 1/2 hour ago after being in this hobby for 5 years, and he's still spewing ever 10 minutes. He's starting to go limp so I think he's almost done. I don't know if the ozone had anything to do with it ,but that's the only thing I have changed lately. I could just tell this afternoon my tank water was better than ever. Seems my coral could tell to!!
RC rocks with threads like this one.

How many hours a day do you run the Ozoner?

I have a red sea ozonizer that has stopped Producing ozone. Should I send it back to the manufacter or is it possibly something I can fix myself?
