Anyone have problems with rusting? I've had this pump running for 2 months and I'm a little upset that I see all this rust.. I bought this from PA but haven't gotten I contact with you yet just thought post this here so people are aware of the issue with these Pumps

Let me know what you guys think..

Thanks

That does not look good. This happened in 2 months? Have the older versions or others of these gen 2's had reported issues with rusting fasteners? I ask because if not then perhaps this was a bad batch used for a production run of pumps. I am hoping that this is a bad run since I am considering switching over to these pumps.

edit:Just did a search and see that you are not the only one to report this.

The metal busing on the housing is titanium, however the screws were stainless, this is where the problems were coming from. RLSS is correcting this now and is shipping out replacement screw sets and covers for those who need them. I'll get an update on it tomorrow and post back here.

Thanks Jeremy

The warehouse is shipping out the replacement today. It will be a front housing that you're getting. The housings are stainless, and the screws are titanium, so the screws should be just fine, and the new housing will fix the issue for you.

If I ordered one of these right after Christmas will it need a replacement housing or will it be from a new batch?
