WCR meeting June 23rd at 12pm

Your bringing the fish to the meet? Sweet

Lokii, I looked over the original post and the tang belongs to Inokea. H got first dibb on it, if he doesn take it then it is yours. I am not sure who wants the percula matted pairs. Did you wanted those? Sorry but it has been so long I don't remember.

Hello,

I was invited by Colin to attend and unfortunately could not go, I also had the opportunity to meet Ron and sold a coral to Baun.

I have a 4 month old 120 that will be sps dominated and would like to get advice from the veterans.

I'm sure as I'm typing this that you guys are having a blast, Please keep me informed as to when the next meeting will be held.

Thanks

Rob

Thanks Grant for hosting, it was a fun meeting as always. the raffle table looks more like a frag swap table. Amazing level of generosity. Even without a tank I might still host a meeting down the road. See you guys soon.

Yes grant thank you for hosting, your family was a pleasure to meet and talk with not just about our love of fish and corals but other topics as well it was a great time. I love how much was on the table for frags, what a generous group of people.

Thanks to Grant for his hospitality! Good times.

The ribs with side dishes of potato salad and pasta salad was awesome. What was the third salad. It was great as well.

I had two rounds of the peanut butter cookie sandwiches. Fab!

Don't dip the dragon's and turaki's... inspect only. =)

Thanks to everybody that showed up. We had a great turnout and everybody was so generous with their corals it did look like a swap. Lots of food also and a great group of people to talk reef with. Once again great to see you all.

BTW, all the pieces I received dipped clean and have been mounted and are in the tanks. Great job Guys.

Hey guys, somebody left a bucket here with a big rock in it. Please let me know what you want me to do with it. I have no tankspace to keep it alive so its going to go outside. Sorry

Grant! That's mine. It was from Tom's tank. Ricordias. Bummed I forgot it. Maybe I will find some time to get it unless you have space to hold it. Or, have John Aquanut hold it until he comes down to the east bay tank your run by BAR.

+1 to what everyone already said. I didn't think it was possible but I think I came home with to much. :) I don't know where to put it all.

Is the pearl berry ok to dip?

Big thanks to grant and the rest of you guys for letting me crash your guys club meeting.. Beautiful tank and house and Thanks for the hospitality guys it was great to meet you all..

All of my (numerous ;) frags are Doing great and look forward to grow in them out and bringing some other things back to you guys to do the same.. I had a great time. Look forward to the next meeting..

Very much appreciated

Daniel..

All,

Great turnout everyone. Totally glad we had a handful of experienced new members who are generous and brought some new pieces to share with some of our newbie/beginner reefers!

The raffle swap went great! Everyone got a chance to win something. Hopefully you all got something you wanted. If not, (at least for me), ask me and we can work something out next time around.

That is what makes this group great! People willing to share for sake of spreading the love.

I saw a great variety of cool SPS, LPS, Zoas, and some softies. Keep adding variety and sharing back with the club.

See you all in a few months!

For those that got my corals, under T5HOs.

For those that got the yellow-tip cerealis, I got it from James at Caesars as a wild mini-colony.

The miyagi tort frags will grow out just like Grant's miyagi (originally from him).

Nick, I "think" it is ok to dip. It is not a smooth skin, thin skin SPS. Check online, but I am dipping it now. Just in case.

Mine (pearlberry) didn't flinch at the Bayer at all.. Polyps extended and looking happy acclimating to its new home..

Wow, that was great. I just finished dipping and placing. The kitchen is even cleaned up!

And I'm exhausted! :)

Special thanks to Grant and Suzzie for hosting. And to Dapg8gt for the HUGE 'frags'. I feel I took way to many corals from the raffle and way too much of what Dapg8gt brought.

Pearlberry is fine to dip. I'm glad you all had a good time.

Mystery rock solved and in the sump of my frag system. Ron, Thats a nice Boulda. ;)

Thanks Grant for hosting! Beautiful house and tank! Glad I finally got to see the tank :) Sorry everyone for being late, never thought it would ever take me an hour to get to Petaluma from SR! As usual, ridiculous amount of frags for the raffle. Thanks for all who donated. Crazy to learn about how many people have or had muscle cars. Not just muscle cars but show quality or 10 sec quarter mile cars. Its funny but I should just post on our forum if I need anything or have a question, since we have a number of well accomplished members :) LOL But we really do!

Grant - Thanks for hosting again, you and Suzie always make everyone feel so welcome. The BBQ and food was great, and to top it off I got a few nice frags.
