WCR meeting June 23rd at 12pm

Lagunitas has a tap room that they use for parties I can see what I can do for a future meeting. I'll call my guy later today and get some details

Reefers on beer.. ^_^
Maybe we should call ourselves Wine Country Reefers on Beer (WCROB). j/k

Awesome! Hosting at some of those venues would be awesome. We can pay for beer/drinks at a discount (hopefully), they get some extra business, and we get a place to host. It may be a great way to introduce others in the area who may want to learn about reef tanks in their leisure time.

Okay back to the meeting LoL! So who can make it to the meeting, just getting a feel on the turn out? Also any topics anyone wants to discuss?

Ron, I think they call that a Pub crawl not a reef meeting ;)

I'm in for Lagunitas one day, but unfortunately cant make the meeting on the 23rd. Ill be at Infineon watching Nascar.

I'm hoping to attend pending no issues with moving and the new house. I should be getting my house on the 20th if everything goes well though.

Colin,

If you need any help moving or storing fish stuff, or even fixing stuff up in the house before you move in... ask.

My handyman is always looking for work and he can do wonders. Consider painting & trimwork and doing other things before you move in. It's that much harder once you move in.

BTW, BAR is doing a tank tour on July 14(Sunday).
For those that want to join the tour, I will be one of the stops (the last one actually before the group hits Diablo Corals).

Colin,
Not sure if your tank will be back up and running by then. If so, you should add yourself to the tank tour. ^_^

NOW to go clean up my display tank & propagation tank so they are presentable.

Thanks a lot Ron! I think I will def take you up on the offer to put some of my high end zoas in your frag tank while I move the main system.

So far I have 2 12gal biocubes and the tank I won at our swap to hold rock/fish/coral while moving. I was thinking I could set up the tank I won from the swap at the new house, while I'm in the process of moving, to house the fish and some coral. Also, thinking of using one of the biocubes as a makeshift sump for that tank.

Do you have an extra stand I could use? I think the tank I won is s 25 gal but I need to get some measurements on it.

Put it on the kitchen counter. ^_^

If you need "Rubbermaid" bins, I have two or three I can clear out for you to store your tank water, live rock, etc. They were used when I helped a lady break down a 90 gal tank where she was giving away free live rock way back when.
