Just bring enough for a few people's worth. We often end up with too much and I feel bad for the hosts since they are left with figuring out what to do with leftovers (eat or throw out).

Glad you've enjoyed the meetings. We aim to keep things friendly and generous.

Here's what I am bringing to meetup, so bring your raffle money. Helps the club buy other new corals to add variety to our club members.

1-2 Miyagi tort frags
1-2 Red digitata frags
Red hornets (if I can cut piece of colony).
Tubbs blue zoa (I love the blue)
Flourescent green hydnophora
Rainbow milli (maybe)
Mystic Monti frag (I love this one!)
...

Others I will have to check.

On that note: my propagation tank is now set up. If any members want to contribute cool SPS/Zoas, I can grow them out for the club.

I think I just got the green light from the wife's schedule to attend.. She as of now is not on the schedule at the hospital so it's looking good for me but that can change in the land of not enough staffed RN's..

Guessing by the sound of all the previous posts I should bring beer ha ha.. I can bring a dessert or something else.. Plus beer? ..

As for the frags I really don't have much in the form of wanted corals.. I have the usual suspects like birds nest ora green( softball, base ball size) , ora orange bodied(fresh cuts) , and a yellow bodied one birds of paradise type(fresh cut) but I know no one wants birds nest.. I have some on the recovery (browned out tips showing color) of sky blue acro loisette w/green polyps.. That's what I got it as at least but it's been a long slow brown adventure lol.. The tips have started to blue up and it's been entrusting for a while really healthy but key word is... It's brown lol.. I got it as a CL ad that it was a tank tear down and I got a huge colony of it., and ATL green w/pink polyp Monti cap.. All normal type of stuff so don't know if it's wanted.. Prob better off just giving money though I have noticed the acro is starting to color up light blue at the tips and the pieces are pretty large one is a 6" w 3 shoots and like 12 tips.. Other is about 4" honestly I'd like to see it in someone else's tank to see a comparison to speed of coloration.. I like the ugly duckling adventure but I know I'm weird like that ha ha. I got a nice miyagi that way..

I've never been to a meeting so I have no idea what's acceptable so someone clue me in on how it works. I mean like really not just be nice to the new guy..

I'll PM you grant when I'm positively sure my wife is off the schedule or down to say she's sick if they try to throw her on.. She owes me anyways she's working on dad's day..

Dap (Daniel), wife doesn't have to attend. Beyond mine coming to first one, she no longer came to future ones.

As for frags, if you have some to spare, bring some to share with the group. It will add more variety to our club and may mean you and other members can grow it out and share with everyone.

Wife is Def not coming she's gonna watch the 2 year old should have been more specific. Honestly the kid would have more fun looking at coral than the wife would:fun5:

First of all " Us be nice" thats asking too much.;) If you have the frags a number of us have frag tanks so we can see what the Brownie turns into. As for food, etc just bring whatever you want and enough to share with a few others.

Hey dap you will have a great time my first meeting was the last meeting and everyone is awesome. Look forward to meeting you

Hey everyone!

I'm Jeremy, a local reefer that has been considering getting more involved in the reef community. I've been looking into the bay area clubs, and after talking to some people (and picking up some frags from Colin), I've decided to look further into WCR. This IS a support group, right? ;) But on a serious note, I'm a reef addict, and feel I could add to your club, and would love to check it out. I hear nothing but good things. Thanks!
