225g BB Reef Project!!!

Here are the aquascaping pics..

I decided to use 2 x milk crates to raise the rock wall to allow more room in the back of the tank and also less LR was needed.

Mark.. Thanks..

I got the idea from a past TOTM. With the crates, I only needed about 250 lbs of LR.

Looks El Sweeto!!

I am setting up a 270 right now (well we are finishing the basemet where it will be places in wall two sides viewable)

My tank is 72*36*24 acrlic.

I also like the egg crates and will likely bite off you here LOL to minimize my live rock s well.!!!!!

Love the design thus far!!

I like the idea also, the only thing I don't like is the fact that you can see the blue. You could get some Epoxy and paint them black or just the sections that are seen / facing the front of the tank black and you would not be able to see it as well and I think it would look better...

Well.. I am planning to placing corals in the areas where the milk crates are showing. Hopefully over time the will over grow those sections..

Typhon,
How did you connect the penductors with the return line? I'm having trouble connecting my 3/4" mpt penductors to the loc-line.

Thanks,
Chris
