Whenever I saw Joseph's collection I really feel ashamed for being a Taiwanese not because I degrade my country , in fact I love this country of mine and proud to say I am from Taiwan and you guys can see thru my Avatar. But in the sense I feel so ashamed because as of now I am still struggling to find out what really makes my tank unable to grow an acros inspire of the hardware I invested and my water parameters being within the reef acceptable level.

Hope someday I can visit and see your tank Joseph. Hsin Chu is not too far from Taipei though.

That's one nice big piece of acro.

It is very hard to manage it ;-(
Its slim branch is very fragile, I can barely hold it, not to mention to place it in tank ....:headwalls:

It is a great way to celebrate the Autumn Moon Festival -- to spend time with your love.
Don't forget to share your moon cake with your reef. Haha.

BTW, nice additions especially that large colony!

Government just announce tomorrow (Tuesday) off due to typhoon.

Looks like I can re-decorate my tank again. Maybe I should do some maintainence work for main pumps and Tunze pumps...

Many places encountered power outage, I hope their tanks are all ok!

I know things won't be perfect...
During Tunze maintenance I found one pump behavior weird... I believe I need to change rotor... Just can't wait new rotor arrive so quickly got a new one from LFS. I need one anyway to add more turbulent at tank center part, that can wait till rotor arrive.

During Tunze maintenance I found one pump behavior weird... I believe I need to change rotor... Just can't wait new rotor arrive so quickly got a new one from LFS. I need one anyway to add more turbulent at tank center part, that can wait till rotor arrive.

At first I also plan to make some maintenance to my wave maker today , unfortunately have to go to office for a meeting even at this special typhoon holiday !

Anyway, nice pump!

Just got my MarineDepot order from US office friend's visit.... I will replace my DIY Tunze Y cable to Tunze one since I never really trust my home made cable completely since last time burn out my Apex controller.

Hope your wavemaker maintenance work can be done soon. Why you have to go to office on typhoon holiday?

Nice to have your US colleague help you order good stuff there and bring it to you here during their visit.

I have a very good friend (RC member) too that help me bought mine and I just pick it up whenever I travel to US. Too bad , BRS , Dr. Foster and Smith , Marine Depot don't go international but even if they have the shipping will be quite costly.

So whenever I travelled US, I always have couple more of extra luggage to filled my reef stuff and my shopping from the outlet. Thanks to My Emerald membership that help me to waived so much estra luggage and over weight issues.

Well, I have to come to Office That typhoon day because of video conferences with My colleague from Taichung and Kaoshiung that they don't go off that day.

Winch system is control and pull by a curtain motor that I found in Taiwan, but it should be available everywhere.

Sign.... I need to ask your opinion of your Pacificsuns doser. Two of my GHL doser now are complete broken. They are 3.5 years old, and I am tired to fix them. I plan to swap to Pacificsuns x 2 so 10 heads to use. or... Maybe new GHL dose 2 x 3!?
