A Smart? Aquarium in Taiwan...

Shih, you're an artist. I love the color combinations.

Hope I did not put them too close.

Great colours  Great arrangement.

Haha.... As above, I am a bit worry they are too close. Originally I think I can move them once grow bigger, but I think I forget how strong they are once encrusted firmly on rock.....

Nice yellow on that last monti/acro pic :)

I like that one, too. Last Indonesia shipment to Taiwan came with many yellow tennis frag, price from NTD2800 (US$90, see below) to NTD1000 (US$35) depend on LFS, and they sold out in no time.
I heard some frags already turn to greenish yellow. I hope I can keep its yellow a bit longer.

Those maricultured Bali corals are not easy to maintain their colour, sometimes even harder than wild aussie colonies imo.

Sorry to bother you about the lighting again Shih, but how do you connect the tubular motor to the lights? Do you use standard hanging kits or is some customization involved? I'm still trying to find a contractor who's able to do this for me.

Regarding Bali coral/frag, indeed some hard to keep first see color.
I have checked a few very informational friends, one said Mariculture Bali coral/frag, they use blue light cook 24 hrs a day for a few days to best their color before shipping.

For curtain-use motor, it comes with some plastic take-up drum stand, so I decided remove the take-up drum and use high quality metal screws to screw steel cable direct on it body instead.

I would, however, suggest you reefer to the famous "the Reef in the Sky" for better answer.

you have a great eye for design, it seems.
May I ask what your profession is?

Is there any chance of buying one of those magnetic stirrers from Dr Bridge, too? I'm fascinated by his designs. I'm in London and I'd pay for postage + whatever his charge.

Ha... I am just a SW developer. My wife re-arrange my new element a bit as below. She said I have no sense of art :headwalls:

I really don't see what different but since she is a designer, more important, the "wife", so I better just listen to her....

About magnetic stirrers.... I only treat it as a gift to my dear RC friends. Let me see what I can do.

Looking great.

Thanks. This is also the first time I finally make the other (kitchen) side looks not significantly worse than front (living room) side of tank.

Hmmm... Starfish keep meltdown themselves, friends told me they may too starving in a ULNS tank!? Anyway, I should still have about 15 to 20 in tank.
Sand become very clear after I start dosing Zeo B-Balance, it is very obviously all algae and cyano disappear after BB dosing (first two days I dosed 10 times, and 5 times of suggested volume), but I don't know what theory behind it. Anyone know?

You have an eye for art, no matter what your wife says. Your tank is jaw dropping to say the least!

Thanks you.
Rule #1, "Wife never wrong";
Rule #2, "If wife did wrong, take a serious look of rule #1".
Case dismissed...Hahaha

Some updates....
