I just installed two DE 10K Reeflux bulbs and they are very bright and very white. The truist 10K bulb I've ever seen. It may take me a while to get used to them after 14K's, but they are exactly what they claim to be.

I just bought a reeflux 12000k and wow I am impressed. It is the perfect color for me. It has a little more blue than the 10,000k but not much.

I agree totally, I was worried the 12K would not be good since all I read about were the 10K
The color has burnt in over the last week and the color is sweet.
Not sorry at all I went with these, I can cut off the supplement during the main MH period
And so far best I can tell the corals love the light, so do the anenome

I think they are still burning in, not to mention that I just plumbed the tank last week and it is full of microbubbles.

We went to a frag swap here in Dallas last night, and all of the corals repsonded very well to the light.

BTW that is with no actinic supplement, bulbs have not fully burned in yet but as you can see very blue for a 12 K bulb

Hello everyone,

I am currently running a twin 250watt unit over my sps tank, and i am running with BLV10k DE bulbs (a tad yellow) especially when you turn off the actinic.
I would like to try the coralvue reeflux 10k's DE bulbs, but does anyone know if i would get a good par rating as i have HQI/Magnetic wire wound ballasts in my lamp unit?

samwheat, you have any pics? I'm sitting here debating ordering the 10K or 12K bulbs and those last pics worried me a little that the 12K was going to be too blue. You say yours isn't that blue?

oh, and I have the same ballasts as you...

I just switched to them 3 months ago and I love them. I used to run radiums for years but hated the heat and short lifespan. Now I can see all the different shades of blues and purple on my SPS. Nice depth penetration also.. My tank is 30" deep.

Does the 12k look dim?

The regular 12k CV only has a little more than half that of the 10k and I am guessing you will lose a lot of PAR with the Reeflux line as well.

I do not have a way to measure par, but the LFS I bought these from runs 10s and 12s on his displays with great results.
I just went to a frag swap last week and bought the first of my SPS venture.
Peach milli, blue acropora, purple tip acropora and I had a monti cap
All seem to be growing before my eyes. Everything seems to love the lights all the way around.
