Anyone tried the Coralvue Reeflux 10k bulbs?

I just installed my three days ago.
It replaced an AB 10k.
I must say that I am impressed with the color.
It is a crisp white with just the smallest tinge of blue.
My AB seemed yellow in comparison.
Of course being only three days old it hasn't burned in so I am keeping my fingers crossed on any color shifting.

I couldn't really notice any shift at all after a month Sean :) If anything, it seemed the warmer spectrum hues [yellow/red] diminished slightly making them even more white. This could just be my perception though as I adjusted from 14k's to these. I think you'll like them... post a pic if you get a chance, I'd like to see them on your tank ;)

Anyone out there using the DE 250 watt reeflux? I'd like to hear more on them. I need to replace my 10K ABs and am considering 14K Phoenixs, 10K XMs, or these 10K reefluxs.
Thanks

Same here. Need reports on the DE version. If not I am going with the Pheonix.

I'm more curious about the Reeflux 12k that customaquatic lists but isn't referenced anywhere else on the entire internet.

I just ordered the 250 watt 10k DE version and will have it by wednesday. I'm currently running the 14k Phoenix on an Icecap ballast, and its just too blue, plus growth has screetched to a hault. I'll post some pics as soon as it comes in.

I ordered some to. 250 se 10K's on IC ballast. I was running 14K's and saw hardly any growth. Now back to 10K's, hopefully these will be a good inbetween for me.

Anyone have any updated pics of the bulbs burned in..and are you still liking the color of the bulbs..and the color of your corals.

Just ordered (4) of the 10K 400s because of some of the pics and feedback, thanks for sharing folks.

LittleBlueGT, I use the single ended bulbs. I switched out my 10k ushios for the reeflux bulbs. I really liked the ushios, they have great growth and color. I justed wanted to try something with more blue.

anymore updates shots of your tank with the bulb burned in? How is the blue tints and growth that people have seen?
Are you asking me?

Alright, you asked for it: My tank was started with 10k Reeflux 400's back in Mid June. Here's some shots under these bulbs and 2x 24" URI actinic only, with a month on them.

The following images were taken tonight. Most of these corals were bought at discount as "Brownouts" and have started to really color up. The birdsnest was just ugly and now is a very amplified pink. , see the smaller piece I glued into the larger one for an example for color up.

Fungia had only a pink mouth last week, now is going all pink:

To say I like this bulb is an understatement. I am running it on a Coralvue electronic ballast. I did read the poor reviews before I bought the COralvue setup. It was discouraging, but I think they have gone past their poor quality issues.

We'll I have been running a SE 10K for a week on a IC ballast and it has a slight pinkish tint to it. Anyone else notice this???
I know the bulb is not burned in completely, but I hope it goes away.

I have got three, every one of them has sounded like shaking a box of rocks when the arrive at my house. This was in two different shipments and appeared to be packaged well.
