On these pics, it doesnt show much because probably of my camera. But with closer observation, the REEFLUX will make your blues and greens glow. But unfortunately, the reds and pinks will suffer. Under ushios on the other hand is bright and without the glow Im talking about unlike REEFLUX. The only bulb that I observed that gives my reds and pinks glow is the 10K XM's.

Unfortunately in terms of PAR based on Sanjay's research, on my magnetic ballast... Ushio is 118 and REEFLUX is 70.

Can someone please post the picture of the 250W reeflux bulb????

I bought couple bulbs and they look just like the 250W regular coralvue bulb. I look at the pictures you guy post and inside of the reeflux is different with the regular coralvue but those are 175W and 400W bulbs.

Please post the picture for me... I just want to make sure that I got the right bulb..
Thanks alot guy..

Oh yeah I have an SE bulb.

Interesting on your pinks and reds not doing well under Ushios. When I switched from Ushio 10kk to XM 10kk my hot pinks with more medium pink with a little purple in them.

But with XM you never know what your bulb will actually be color temp!!!!! :)

TT

Didn't I say I saw them??

The 250w has the same internal design, its just shorter than the 400w.

If it has the circular wire up the top its not Reeflux.

even tho the reds suffer a bit, it seems like every coral is more sharper in image, also opened up alot more under the CVreeflux

I agree totally ;) The more I look at these the more I like them :D

Here is an updated pic of my tank with reeflux bulbs. For some reason in the pic, the tank looks really blue. However, it doesn't look this blue to the naked eye.

i've been running moguls for about a month now. They look great. The colors have become more intense.

To my eye it looks like a 14k bulb, but more violet than blue hue to it and brighter. I'm running them on hqi ballasts.

Looking to change out a 400W Radium, always loved the Radium, but changing it out every 6 months is a pain in the a--, if I tried a 400w Reeflux, which kelvin would get me close to the Radium look?, 10K, 14K, 20k?

the reeflux only comes in 10k. the other bulb temps are standard CV's... and quite frankly, unworthy of serious consideration IMHO. I wasn't too impressed with standard CV's power or color... just my .02 though ;)

don't expect a 14k look. Its very white... whiter IMO than Ushio's or XM's, but no where near blue. I added another 96w of PC actinic and think it's reasonably close to the look of my old Hammy14k's. Growth and color though is WAY better
