By far the absolute best skimmers ever made. IMO of course 
MTC Venturi or Beckett skimmers.
I love my MTC MVX. I did a lot of playing around and testing different configurations and pumps. Different venturies and even dual. Jeff also sent me a new collection cup top and Beckett conversion to try.
Unfortunately Jeff is no longer with us

Here is my 72“ Giesmann Spectra. I know it’s old and ancient and lo tech and can’t be programmed and it’s from e the horse and buggy days but every 6-9 months I have to trim 1-2 Home Depot buckets full of SPS colonies or the tank just gets overrun. I just trimmed about 1 -1/2 Home Depot buckets out today.
For those of you who might be concerned I might run out of Radium bulbs, I have a 200 gal IO box full of now or almost new 20K radium’s. I don’t know how many that is but I’m sure it will last me well into whenever LED finally catch up with MH
