I could have sworn I saw a picture of your metal framed tank at some point…maybe it was someone else.

One of my first tank was stainless steel rimmed aquarium no pictures I was like 10.
It ran up the sides too.. The glass was more like windows.

We have whicker plant stand that had a ~5 gallon glass cube tank in the center section that came from my great grand parents house. Slate bottom, iron frame. I will have to look, but I think the tank is still with it. Sealed with tar.

As kid I had a a few stainless frame tanks, also sealed with black tar. Both also had slate bottoms. I don't have photos though. I think one was a 10 and the other was a 30 or 45.

Yep - that is exactly what I had.
