i closed the nozzle completely, then opened it just enough until the dots lined up the 1st time. It wasn't even one full revolution.

What 's the difference in the kind of nog you get when you have the nozzle completely in (one revolution) or almost completely out ? Shouldn't you get more air into the skimmer if you turn more the nozzle and take further out ?

OK guys, i got real specs for the bubble king mini 200. the measurement for the base plate isn't good enough because it doesn't take into consideration of the return pipes and pump intake so here goes.

I re-read the manual, and it says that the air isn't affected much when you turn the nozzle. The further you turn it out, the more water you intake. I posed the same question, and Creetin said that you'll process more water as you turn the nozzle out, but if you leave it in more, you may process more of the "harder to skim" organics.

Id be in for a group buy as well but im in canada if that matters or not... this would probably sway me to be another bk member, lol.

Ive been lurking for a couple months now and really torn like T-bone has been about getting an ATB small or BK mini 200 or SM 200. It would be going on a 120gal tank 40gal sump with about 100 lbs of LR. I plan to make this tank heavily stocked
If we did get a group buy discount ill probably go SM200 unless you guys think i should only get a BK mini 200.

Well it looks like my money has been refunded for the used 250 internal I bought 2 weeks ago, I guess I have been checking the front porch everyday for nothing.

I have been looking for a used one for 6 months and I am no longer in the mood to wait. Anyways, it looks like I will be buying a new one. Where is the best place to buy from and possibly where I can get one right away, overnighted? Proline says theirs are on backorder.

that sucks. so a private party just refunded your money cuz they changed their mind? weird. try calling Premium Aquatics or Aquarium Specialty. They may have them in stock. Or you can try OC Aquatics and SoCal Tropical Fish.

If you'd like, I can get you in contact with a couple of local reefers who are looking to upgrade their 250 Deluxe Int to a 300, and see if they are willing to sell to you. Not sure of their time frame though
