Yes the fit was perfect. Thats why I jumped on the sale when Manny posted it. That wall is exactly 60". My closet behind it will still host all the goodies. They are called sliders. I have a 4 pack but coudlnt find it. Bobby bought them at Harbour Fright for $4 he says. I liked the HD ones better, but it did the job.

Yes. The key is empty ASAP, keep corals moist, move, and refill ASAP. It probably took us 1/2 hour for this whole part of it. Zero losses.

If you see some of the pics above some of the corals are already out of the water.

We already told Lourdes that when we were there and it wasnt a funny site lol ......Eddie could move it into their bedroom at the end of the bed lol

Eddie,

I'm going to be doing this process very soon as well. Im going from a standard 120g to a 200g.

I have a couple of questions, how did you get out the fish when you moved the tank? Or did you not take all the water out and leave some room for the fish?

Also how difficult was it to place the sliders underneath the aquarium with it partially full. Im imagining it must not have been very easy???

Oh one more thing, you guys are more than welcome to head on over to my house and help me with my move once your done with Eddies.......lol.

Thanks,
Eric

Eddie has been working out at Gold's Gym preparing for the lift during the move.
Shirtless pictures will follow.

Really?? He must be one of those guys that is alot stronger than he looks... lol.

Eddie, can I work out with you at Golds? I need a couple of pointers, obviously what Im doing isint working...... :spin1: :lmao:

Eric- I spoke to you on phone earlier but i will answer here for educational purposes.

We did not move fish. We left ~ 6" of water in tank, but made sure to empty sump. That left us probably 20 gallons of water all together. Thats plenty for fish.

Putting sliders in place was like this: one guy at each end of tank (four guys). All had sliders under each foot. As they lifted, slider was put into place.

After this sliding tank was relatively easy. Can one guy do it?..no. Again each guy moved there own side. We moved tank to another wall very close by.

Ide be happy to help. Others are up to you to recruit. I gave them pizza and beer, and them some more beer for me.

We already told Lourdes that when we were there and it wasnt a funny site lol

Matt- your overextending what I convinced her of. You and the ones here that day know im close to not meeting the "spouse factor", lets not over do it.

Now we need to start a petition for both tanks to stay

Lulio- Ask Matt if he thinks that will help. LMAO

Following along. Think I am going to do the same thing with my new tank. What's your plan as far as setting up the new tank? Just get it up and running and relocate everything or cycle the new tank then relocate? Thanks
