You are buying Austin's tank then? I knew you were shutting down the display, but now I'm just confused.

As for my new purchase, I'm not cool enough to keep up with Dan anymore. I turned in my "cool reefer card" :lol:

Anyway, I'm out of the coral aquisition business now...no more room...actually I think I'm going into the coral reduction business now. I'm thinking of pulling two more largish colonies.

Dan, What do you keep your Alkalinity at? Does the Prodibio Bioptim and Bio Digest seem to have any impact on Alk in your system?

Ryan, I target 8 - 9 dKH. I've not noticed impacts to any of my parameters from the Probidio products. What are you seeing? Why the question?

Thanks Dan, I remember reading something on RC a couple weeks ago where somebody said if using Prodibio (Bio Digest & Bioptim) you should always have low Alk like a ULNS. I didn't necessarily know if it was true since a lot of stuff on the forums is not always accurate. I am going to be getting some Bioptim and BioDigest for free from somebody who is getting out of the hobby and I am going to try it out in my system. The reason I asked is because I just wanted to verify with somebody who has used Prodibio and also has pictures to prove success....not necessarily with Prodibio, but with reefnig itself. I try to weed through the abundance of information on the forums by accepting information from certain people.

Never heard that before and I've never had any issues (that I know of) while running Prodibio and having my alk at 8-9 but maybe I've been lucky

Anyone else heard of this?
