Hum...

Never heard that before and I've never had any issues (that I know of) while running Prodibio and having my alk at 8-9 but maybe I've been lucky

Anyone else heard of this?

No Dan. In fact I agree with your method as I found when I dropped my alk below 8.5, I did not have the same results.

Prodibio is not a "ULNS", it's just the addition of bacteria

That's what I figured. I'm glad its been re-confirmed.

OK, in order to increase my chances of success I pulled my Z. desjardinii and my Bodianus masudai. They have gone through 2 rounds of prazi and are aggressively eating. They are now on day 2 in isolation containers in my display and will be let free tomorrow. Wish me luck :worried: :D

Rhomboid trio. I think that they're 2 males and a submale. I wanted 1 male and 2 females but that's how they came. They didn't mess with each other while in QT so hopefully they'll get along in the display. Two female flames for my existing male, I think I saw him putting a white "Saturday Night Fever" suit on this morning :lmao:

Hey Dan! :wavehand: Happy Holidays!!

I was curious how your Rhomboids and flames are doing? I tried looking for an update on them but couldn't find anything after this post. How many wrasses do you currently have in your tank? Im thinking about buying a pair of flames but still need to do some more research. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hey Ramzy. They are all doing great. The rhomboids are all getting along well with each other and the other fish and same with the flames. As you know I've made several attempts with rhomboids and flames. I've found the flames to be much more hardy than the rhomboids. The only advice I could give you would be to QT them, prazi and get them fat before you add them to your display. BTW I saw a pair for sale on the So Cal board. I currently have 11 wrasses in the my tank.
