Standing by with baited breath. When I wiggle my tongue the fish nearly jump out of the water. :D

Tom
What kind of worm do you use? What does it taste like? :D

Photos uploading now.

Alan - I was going to ask Tom if he was tapping the cork for a wee bit of single malted - after reading that last post................I would be careful with the last question you asked him - this could get ugly.....<G>.....HA!

So - did both you and Jeff get thanks on stands?

Tank is installed. Here's the event. Drew (plyr58) and crew from Elite Aquarium Services did a great job (and no backs were broken - but may be sore this morning). :p
Up the driveway with Drew in the lead.

Across my lawn

Turning it on the front panel so it will fit through the front door.

Trying to decide who goes on which corner.

THE BIG LIFT and I was nervous about those suction cups. :eek2:

Finally on the stand:

The finished installation.

So after that was over it was over to Jeffs (JRF) to "help" install his tank (I was official photographer)

 happy to hear the tank is on the stand.

Sandy
So am I. I was like a cat on a hot tin roof throughout the whole deal. All that was between success and failure were four suction cups. :eek2: :eek2:

And to my surprise my wife said 'it looks good'.

We sure did. The Canadian driver could not get his semi down the road to Jeff's house so we met him in the shopping area parking lot up the street, broke down the crate, and transferred the tank to Jeff's van.

Well, I have now officially showed my butt on RC.

Seriously though, glad all went well Alan. Now fill 'er up!

Great job Alan!
How beautiful the tank looks on the stand!

I didn't realize it would have some plumbing in place. Very nice!

I know exactly how you feel about those suction cups....

Our tank was almost dropped when they tried to put it on the stand.... thank goodness my son was here, had he not been here, the tank was going on the floor!:eek2:

BTW, is that your cat in the drive way?
he looks a little on the skinny side, maybe you should feed him

I installed the plumbing while it was sitting on the pallet in my basment. I have limited space behind the tank and it's so long I could not reach the middle connecttions from the ends so putting in the pipes and hoses before it was installed was the easiest way to go.
And no, that is next door neighbours cat (and for an outdoor cat it's fat -- its belly drags on the ground). :)
The darn thing snook in the house while we outside and afterwards I went around to make sure he didn't mark his territory.

Congratulations, Alan! Do you have water in it yet? ;)

Andy
The only water is from the cleaning rag. :D

Thanks. To avoid further embarrassment I edited the post. :)

Alan - relax - it is all in fun. Remember - you don't have to curtsey in NC ( well..- unless you are one of the "big burly girls" Waterkeeper referred to)
Heck, I might have edited the picure and put a "tramp stamp" on Drew's exposed flesh. Now THAT should get a grin!!!

 They move some pretty big panes of glass with those suction cup lifts so I guess they work pretty well.

Drew said they were rated for 200 lbs. On construction sites while a project manager I've seen them lift 10' x 12' insulated glass with the HD versions. They have ones with vacuum pumps that lift larger units with a crane.

Great looking tank, Alan. Looks perfect on top of that gorgeous stand! You must be smiling from ear to ear. :D

Thanks and yes I am. I have just been cramming myself under the stand (should have made the doors bigger :( ) to hook up the drain and supply hoses (that I pre-installed on the tank) to the manifolds at the back.

I got my two Vortech MP40s wired up and am now waiting on my lights. Will start to fill with RO water next week.

Now you know why the "Tang Police" demand a 5,000 gallon tanks for a tang. There you can walk around in the stand. :D
