If You Are New to Reef Central, Introduce Yourself Here!

Hey everyone. Not so new to the hobby but new to this forum. Just here making one mistake at a time but keeping stuff alive as best as I can. 60 gallon cube. Other than the aiptasia and the gha it looks pretty nice to me. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Introducing myself. I’ve been keeping a 30 gallon mixed reef tank for just over a year and am upgrading to a Redsea Reefer XL425 which is being delivered next week. Looking forward to using the knowledge here to help make the new build successful.

Hi everyone! My name is Alvin and I'm new to this forum, I had biocube for 3 years but got busy with the kids. Now they are a bit older, it would be an awesome hobby to do with the kids. Cant wait to learn more about reading.

Hey y'all. Owned my IM 40 aio for just under a year now. Just ordered a Red Sea Reefer 425xl that should be here this coming week and a bunch of other stuff for it. Hoping to learn more and have a beautiful little reef at home [emoji16]Screenshot_20200315-163658_Samsung Notes.jpg

Hello, as in the name i am a reef rookie and i have collected parts over the years to assemble my own 200G tank. Any input is very much appreciated. Thanks

To answer your questions correctly & provide information, something more specific than needing help is required. Make the list short & concise, get your answers then ask another set of questions please.

Hello Everyone, my name is Richard and years ago I had a 500-gallon reef tank and really enjoyed it until we had to move and the tank had to go. I am now getting ready to start a new 210-gallon tank and was recommended to this forum.

Hey fellow reefers. Planning on getting my feet wet in the saltwater realm for the first time. Wife has had salt before, just here to further educate myself before taking the plunge. Have had several successful freshwater tanks past and present. Going to be converting a 45 tall hex front to a nice reef tank and a 20 long into a quarantine that has been sitting idle.

I'm back

Not necessarily new to the hobby but I've been out the game for 8 years. Got out the hobby when I left for Navy Bootcamp. Looking to get back into it around the new year. I'm sure a lot has changed in 8 years just trying to get my knowledge back up

Looking good 👍🏽👍🏽

You're welcome I appreciate it. Yea it's been a while since i last had my tank and from looking at this forum it seems like things have changed a lot. When i got out LED lights where starting to be the new thing but now im seeing a lot of people wanting to go back to metal halides.
Thank you and thank you for your service. As long as you dont want everything right now you will do just fine in the hobby.

New to the hobby, just started my first 30gal mixed reef tank. Currently have 2 black oscillaris clowns and live rock in it. Haven't gotten any corals yet. How long do you recommend I wait for corals. I put my black oscellaris in on Sunday, so 3 days ago, they are doing great. I'd appreciate any tips tricks and advance.
