In Doctor's Office 220 Gal Upgade

I see the tank is doing real well harry still running the pellets.

Hey there Batt!

Sure am, running the pellets. Phosphates have been steady at 0.01- 0.03

Feeding fish more frequently (daily) and heavy with no change in phos nor nitrate levels. Waahoo!

Hows your reef, and when are you coming by?

Worked on my water exchange system a bit today. Two 50 gal drums, drilled and fitted with Uniseal style bulkheads. The drums came with 1" holes near the bottom of each drum so I'm just going to make them spouts. The Left drum will hold RO water only. The right drum is for redundant water which will be plumbed into the system. (For water changes I will simply empty the 50g drum then refill with new salt water without interrupting the system. An idea from RKaragozler.) Below the left drum I will have a 45g drum for salt water mixing and prep (Temp, and pump.)

With all the growth, weight and size of the corals cause a shift on the rocks. I did some scaping with plenty of epoxy of the Pogoda cup and the staghorn. Removed the Stag and glued it to a rock outside the main tank. Used a rubberband to hold it down then placed her back into the tank.

Working on a manifold to handle all my pumping needs, but retrofitting a system is such a PIA!

Far left valve = main display tank ~ 15' horizontally away
2nd valve from the left = Refugium ~ 10' away
3rd = Lagoon 55g
4th = bio pellets
5th = 50 g redundancy drum

Yep I have been thinking about building one since I have a frag tank that is getting plumbed into the sytem and for expansion capabilities. Will have to add it to my (very) long list :)

The reef has been going thru Alk issues with fluctuations up and down. I guess its going thru its growing phase angain and the Alk is dropping below normal levels.
I however have been soooo busy that the reef is suferring and bleaching. I since got it under control.
Here is a Stag which I took out to examined for any bugs. None found. It the necrosis ceases then I'll leave it alone, otherwise I'm gonna have to frag it :(
Here you can see its beautiful blue tips and the ugly bleached truck!

Found time and set up my chiller and duct work with fan to vent hot air out to the basement. The chiller is under the stand cabinet.

Niiice Harry... The RO unit looks great and I see your happy with it; and the chiller with some duct work to take out the heat well that's just fancy... Nice work buddy.

A Scroll plate coral? I got it pretty beat up with large defects in it tissue. Debrided the areas and nursed it back to health

This Panapi Birdsnest gifted to me by DiverRad is a variant of its thinner branched Panapi relative

War Coral, a prize piece, gift from OPG, is placed at the bottom of the tank (29") far left side in low light. I think this is bringing out its deep colors

A gift from Jarrett Shark, this ORA Birdsnest was placed of a rock and glue up on the rocks but fell down and I left it on the sand (too lazy to stick my hand down to the bottom of the tank.) well the Goby adopted it and takes care of it.

Section Milli. Here in this section are different variants of Milli (Blue, Purple, Mint Green, Red Planet, and Yellow) I could get a good picture representation of its colors
