My 240g FOWLR

Just got him, that picture was taken 2 days after I introduced him to my tank, he is getting his, I will fat him up in no time :)

Your tank is looking awesome Peter, so many of my favorite fish in there. HLLE drives me nuts, I've done everything imaginable to get my blue tang to heal and nothing has ever worked. He's a nice thick tang and gets plenty of greens but diet doesn't seem to help at all.

Honestly I think tangs sometimes have something more than just hlle going on... melting looking fins come to mind....

Got my tank resealed, rock & fish back in it 7 inches from being full ran out of salt! So far no leak! Crossing my fingers!!! Picked up another 280 Saturday but I have not set it up yet! I'm wore out from the other 280 complete redo! Keep the photos coming Peter !

Tank full up & running! All I need now is some nice butterfly's like Peter has! Peter I know of a guy going to Jorden he is going to hand pick a lot of Red Sea fish he will return in August let me know if you want something from the Red Sea!

Do you have a refugium?

Mike

How is the Rock Beauty doing? They are one of my favorite angels. I used to have one in the dark ages aka undergravel filters. What do you feed him/her.

So I just went and took a long look at her since you are not the first to ask. She's doing well. I'd say she's gone from about 2" to about 2.75". I don't think I've had her a year yet... She eats any pellet I throw in there... only some frozen foods.

I have heard they are mostly sponge eaters, but good luck anyway.

The problem with that is virtually all large and medium sized angels eat only sponges and tunicates as adults. I personally don't buy into that as a cause of failure in the aquarium.

Updates:

The third Allen's damsel finally showed himself!

The parachaetodons are eating minced scallop very well... they won't be starving on my watch.

I released the semilarvatus from the trap.... the falcula hates him.... I haven't seen such hate between two butterflies since trying to keep a auriga and ulientensis in the same tank. If it doesn't subside, I will choose... the falcula.

also, the bluehead wrasse is beating up the breams... he's got to go.

Wow, falcula before semi, to each his own. The semi is one of my all time favorites though. Tough choice either way. Way onto stay proactive.

Picked it my 520 gallon today! Wow it's huge! Peter I might set the 520 up for Red Sea fish only not sure yet! But I need to know lots more about butterfly's ! Send me you phone # in a PM you could teach & help me a lot!
Thanks Michael
