New ORA Release: Blue Iris Acro

It's pretty sweet that's for sure. Looks similar to my no namer coral and the ice fire. I like it:smokin:

Nice RS.

Ever visited ORA?

Yes, I've been to ORA a couple times. Unfortunately they treat their coral farm like it's a NASA Experimental Area, So I've never gotten in to that section of their operation.

I can picture a tour of school kids pointing with lit up faces....eager to learn. Throwing pennies and making wishes :D

100% positive that is not a Granulosa at all. Possibly a Turaki or Lokani variant, possibly even a speciosa, but 100% certainty it is not a granny. Ora love to name thing what they are not. Look at the Phils Granny, it is not a Granulosa either, it is a Turaki or similar Variant.

Phil's Granulosa is a Caroliniana, the Blue Iris does not look like a Lokani or Turaki if you look at the corallites. Turaki's are very thin branching corals. Lokani's are similar to Loripes/Granulosa. It also doesn't look like the Echinata. The Blue Iris most resembles the Speciosa. Here is a link.

The one I just got from LiveAquaria was $79.99. May be able to find it cheaper once they start releasing more and it's been out a while.
