New South Asia Magnifica

Ha...glad you got one too! I would treat in independent tank. I've treated with clowns in the tank, but very low dose, and took the fish out as soon as I got another tank ready.

Is this one yours:

Unique mag, but no tip color. :-(

GGGGGOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!!

So, I'm going to highjack your thread for a minute here Jared. I missed the two yesterday, but noted that I received the email at 6:05PM EST. I had to run a few errands a town away today and was hoping to be home by 6. Well I didn't make it. I heard my phone beep with an email alert and glanced at it and saw it was my DD email. I opened it up (Country road with no oncoming traffic) and glanced at the Invert section and saw another Mag!. I whipped my truck over to the side of the road, towing a trailer with a mower on it and looked at the picture. Purple on Purple, exactly what I wanted. Had it in my cart and checked out by 6:08!!!

Going to make a call on Tuesday depending on how he arrives as to if he is going into his own QT or if I will add him to the QT I currently have my clowns in (They've been there for 4 weeks and haven't shown any signs of parasites). Either way I'm prepared for best case and worst case scenarios. Extremely happy I got to one before all the other vultures snagged him :bounce3:

Mine is the one I quoted. I'm actually not a huge fan of the green tipped ones, and while pretty, just not a fan. Purple on Purple is what I was after. The fact that it's already 9" in diameter is nice as well. My clowns that will HOPEFULLY one day inhabit this are 2.25"-2.5" Black Ice and 2" Picasso pair, so the nem should be well sized for them and will make a nice centerpiece for my 125G.

I would love to put a Clarkii pair in that yellow one you have, that would be cool too :P

My wild caught perc. tried to get in my Mag as I was placing the anemone in the tank after acclamation. I have had her 10 years without a anemone. Her mate a tank bred black occ. took about a minute. 2 1/2 years later the male only leaves the men to fertilize the eggs an the female strays no further than 6". My point is right clowns right anemone. It won't take long.:)

Indeed not. When I put my current Mag into the display it took less than a second for my pair of ocellaris clowns to dive in - and they've never left.

3 Gigs hit DD at 6:02 today, all three were sold by 6:02 today. I just laughed, glad I'm a Mag person and not a Gig person.

I was thinking the same thing Amoo lol. That blue one was beautiful though.

You ain't kiddin', that blue was nice!

Oh you got the Blue? Holy cow, I was sitting at my computer when it beeped and by the time I clicked it was gone.

LOL, it's okay, my Mag is here and I couldn't be happier. This stupid *** BTA though, I'm beginning to wish this damn thing would just die already. No reaction to Cipro, have tried 4 different lights, hates all of them, opens and closes when it wants to with no rhyme or reason.

There is a saying in the vet community, "Nothing should die without the benefit of steroids." I'm on day 1 of SMZ & TP with this thing, but I doubt I'll give it more then 3/4 days and if he doesn't perk up I'm seriously considering hitting him with a steroid.

I'm not a big fan of BTA's.
