I really feed a lot to avoid SFS. Plus BBS doesn't really have much nutrition unless you enrich it with HUFA.
I'm still unclear on the hufa's. The "selco" instructions say that there's no point in giving any to the nauplii till they are at least 24-48 hours old...cause they won't absorb it. And so I'm feeding the newly hatched BBS that still have their yolk sack as well, and so should stay more nutrient rich while waiting for the next new BBS. So is it worth me getting a whole new set up for the brine shrimp when they don't even absorb the selco before I feed them to the fry? I'm not sure yet.
I'm hopeing to ween the fry onto frozen food that does have more nutritional value. Like cyclopeese...asap.wish me luck.
their little butts are getting red/orange, is this from the NHBS? Is it normal?
My babies are 3 weeks old now, but won't touch anything other than bbs. I'm enriching the bbs with selcon, so I'm not too worried about nutrition, but I know the longer they stay on bbs the harder it is to wean them off.
So far I've only tried cyclop-eeze, and they don't even look at it. Any suggestions?

I found this article to be very helpful.
