Pump selection

Ok folks I’m looking at down grading my Mag 9.5 to something around 500 to 700 GPH. Right now I’m considering the following and would appreciate your input:


Quiet One Pump 3000 rated at 780 GPH 40 watts

Oceanrunner Pump 2500 rated at 650 GPH 38 watts

And last but not least the good old mag 7 at 700 GPH 60 watts

Maybe even a Mag 5 at 500 GPH 45 watts

i'd go with the oceanrunner at the 38 watts for 650 GPH

i'd go with the quiet one. they have been great pumps for me in the past. plus it is only 2 watts for 130 more GPH that can be used to put a penductor and rid the tank of a power head which would cut down even more... thats what i did..
