Reefbreeders/(Evergrow OEM) Fixtures D120/IT20** series

From the pics, I can see open and happy frogspawn towards the edge of the tank, where it gets lower light. I would dial your light down to about 25% max on both channels to start. You can simply remove the optics to get more spread, I would have recommended the 24" fixture for a 36" long tank.

The frogspawn is alot lighter color on the sides like clear. I wish I got the the 24 but when we ordered the lights you only had the 16 inch controllable fixture... Than 2 weeks later you had different sizes, I love this fixture tho just trying to get it set up properly. Would my 2 sps be fine with just 25%

What's the turn around time on orders? Will they arrive in 2-3 days or 2-3 weeks after I place an order?

Thanks,
Tom

If it is clear on one side, again, too much light. 120 degree optics would help spread it out, and lowering the intensity would be my first course of action. Corals must be slowly acclimated to the LEDs.

Ok thanks now do I have to buy 120 optics or take my 90's off.

Will the value fixtures handle clams on the sand bed? I am planning a 4" sandbed at least so the water will be in 24 to lower range.

I have 2 clams growing just fine on my sandbed.

I also finished adding the new violets to my older 16" fixture today, and I added 2 595nm yellow leds as well. The yellow looks good in place of 2 warm whites. Still a 10k look on my old layout.

I have it for sale in the used section.

I have the 2080 over my 40b and this fixture is awesome! 500+ par on the sand bed with the light 16" of the water. It was easy to set up and works like advertised. My only issue was one of the fans was making a strange noise, contacted who I got it from and received all new fans.

Is the 24" or 32" fixture recommended for a 40B to grow SPS? Also, 60, 90, or 120 degree optics?

Are there any options for mounting this on top of the tank instead of a hanging kit?

pics!

Info on how loud the fans are? Temp controlled or are they running flat out all the time?

I have 2 led fixtures from 2 other chinese companies and I can hear their fans when they turn on. They aren't real loud, but I can hear them from the other side of the room when the room is quiet. I have 5 EverGrow/RB fixtures (D120, IT 2040 & 2080) and I can't hear the fans when I stand in front of the tanks! Lucky for me, the loud fans are in a spare room over my QT and FT.

I think I have decided to go with 2 32" fixtures for my 150 build. Tank is 72" long. What optics do I use for that? Will have a DSB so the water hieght will be in the 2' range.

I would also like to know this. I want to upgrade to one of these for my 40 breeder as well, but I also run a primarily SPS tank

Sorry for the double post also wondering what hanging kit you recommend to suspend the light over the tank without mounting it to the ceiling? I have very high ceilings and am pretty sure I'm not allowed to drill into them to hang things lol

90 degree lenses should work great for that size tank. I have 2 over my 180g and use 90's with 120's on the moonlights and colored leds other than white and blue (i.e. uv, violet, green and red).

Going to order a d120 with in the next couple weeks for my standard 29g tank currently under x4 24w t5's, mostly softies through out, and a few sps and lps in the upper half. What would be the right height to mount it and should I stick with the default 120 optics or change for something else?

can you tell us abut the warranty, how are claims handled. if something breaks in the two year time frame how do you handle replacement. what things arent covered under the warranty.
