RR jaw dropper

I was thinking ORA German Blue Polyp Acro too when looking at it. However, don't see the hint of yellow on the one I have like this piece though.
 
When I saw the 1st page picture, the acroholic in me kicked in high gear. I want this piece, then read through the pages and was kind of disappointed to see an actual picture, brought me back down real quick
 
The Bleeding Avengers I have is turning Orange,Yellow Green with Blue polyp.

IMO from all the Pics the JD has nothing on the Bleeding Avengers JD seems like a mighty fail especially for the price can't wait until all these color up and grow out but from my perspective the Avengers WINS hands Down.

If you look @ there posted pic it is brown polyp (red after a little pic juice) not blue.

Wow it's a nice piece but what a disappointment. I suspected that the first pictures posted were photoshopped.
Still nice but not worth that kind of money.

There are some of us who appreciate the tried and tested good old cultured SPS.

There are others who have the financial capacity to pay for latest X, Y or Z coral.

Nothing wrong with either.

But boy, was this a funny thread. :D
 
Here is my Bleeding avengers it is what JD should have been and really turning into one of the best pieces I own. I Acquired it from Canada directly from Frag Box almost a year ago and it's just now starting to shine.

I've been following it from the beginning and I think it's funny. However I can't wrap my mind around how someone can spend that much for a frag. And to find out how doctored the initial picture was, if I forked out that kind of cash, I’d be demanding justice!

At best it’s an $80 frag. IMHO

I agree to an extent. I think any coral is worth whatever the buyer values it at. If someone has the financial means to drop 2 K on a 1inch frag and does so because they think its worth it I think thats fine. I do however agree with you in the sense that I too have been following along since the first post and couldnt be more disappointed. Its a shame some people will waste not only their own time but everyone elses with such dumb antics. Nobody is going to think less of you if you dont have the craziest multicolored outlandish named acro! Lay off the photoshop people and join the rest of us in reality!!!!! 🙈

Very well put and I to have been here from page one. It's very disappointing and on post 112 is when I realized photoshop was used.

No no no Photoshop wasn't used it was mastered :spin1:

For real tho it was just sold using the same photoshop pic and someone really forked it over. I mean listen it's all in the eyes of the beholder and I'm guilty of paying 200-400 a frag but their is no way in hell that piece is worth more than 150.00 at best. It is going to end up a wasted investment once the 10 deep pocked buyers pay up.
This is one of those pieces I feel like buying and selling for 10.00 just to show the people responsible for taking newbs. money for fake coral a lesson and open people's eyes. Let's face it I could have drawn a coral with crayons on paper and asked 1k for it because the coral in the photoshop don't exist. It was a great business move to generate cash flow but wrong on a lot of levels.

Fyi on another note RD CANADA was selling it for 200.00 it's the shop in Cali. Responsible for making the 1200 price tag. I know because when it first came out I was talking with Canada with a few others and that was the price. Not saying RR is all straight here since they did the photoshop but the price comes out of Cali. because cali paid 2k max. For 10pcs.

How do I know?

Well I told RR they where crooks because they tried to sell us 5k in marked up average frags in order to get 5 frags of JD. Needless to say we all walked away not wanting to pay 7k for I think it was 40pcs. Total with 5 being JD. Fast forward 3 months just two days ago I get an email saying "So you think I'm a crook? I just sent 10pcs. To Cali. Now go pay 1200 1/4" " lol Well I dint respond back because I think he's delusional to think I though about him or his photo shopped coral 10 min. after I told him he was a crook. Obviously he has been very bothered by it but myself and the other two people never trusted not only his honestly but what the coral looked like since we never got pics.

I'm glad I got the bleeding avengers seems like it's a winner and I only paid 125.00 lol.
 
Hmm, I wonder who the guys are here in cali? I have a good idea of who he/they might be. Regardless though, theyre going to have to remarket it and change the name because at this point no ones willing to buy a jaw dropper for outrageous prices.

Then you haven't been on the other reef site lately. Multiple frags sold instantly. Going there will also tell you who sold them.
