Early 2008 right after the system was moved into the new display.

Bryopsys out break after movng my remote DSB. Controled through regular negative nutrient mantenance and grazing.

Nice growth! I like the corals on the side glass. Are tthey attached with magnets?

They are my old glass algae scrapers. Cant use them on the acrylic so i tie-wrapped some egg crate to them. Keep it small and they work good.

The Emperator eats corals. The others pick but not so bad. Its a big tank and he doesnt pick on any one coral more than a couple of days so they dont mind so much. He likes the thin crispy ones like the Hawkins and Nanas especially. All of the tangs also moutht hte corals constantly. I have video if you check my oposts of them grazing slime off the corals. I think they bother the polyps at least as much as the angels. I dont recomend an Emerator in anything but the largest systems thiugh. Any smaller tank and he would cause way too much damage. I have been going through old images and will post some individual growth shots later today if i can.
