It doesn't have any actual branch structure like A. desalwii has, it's practically encrusting. Appear wise with the polyps out I can certainly see the resemblance, but not otherwise. One of these days I'll get a shot with the polyps retracted.

Congrats, well deserved, I have always loved this tank. When I saw your original picture of the the Blue Saphire and went out and got a frag lol.

Do you happen to have any shots of your aquascape before everything grew in? I am trying to re-aquascape the side of my tank with the overflow and I love how your grew in.

I am also jeolous of your blue Valkyrie, I bought that twice from CC and both times it just turned brown and ended up RTN, no idea why, but you might be only a handfull of people who have it now. I know someone else that had the same thing happen to it, and I believe CC lost their colony.

Yeah, they didn't have Blue Valk for long before they lost their colony, I confirmed that at MACNA. Same with the Oblivious. I'll dig up a pic of earlier full tank shots as well as reply to your PM after work and ball tonight.

Well done on TOTM Peter. Your tank is thoroughly deserving of it.

That Blue Valk is an amazing piece...SO much nicer than so many named/hyped/high end corals out there. I'd definitely hand out a few frags to others for safe keeping.

I was reading back through your posts and the TOTM, and didnt even realize that you had already written that CC had lost their colonies of the valk and Oblivious. Sorry about that. Awseome corals though, and I would agree amazing pieces much nicer than many of the hyped pieces out their.
