Tamarind Thai 'dominated SPS

thank you for the kind words,,
no,i did not dose anythings at all even iodine.,but feed alot:D
alk 9.5-10.00
ca 390-410
mg never measure guessing around 1250
sal 1.025
ph 8.10-8.35
temp 77.2-78.9

Interesting. What are your nitrates? My readings and regimen is very similar to yours and I also feed a lot. That lead to high nitrates. In order to combat the higher nitrates I used Reef BioFuel from Brightwell. It worked great. Brought them from around 30 to 1 in about 3 weeks.

Do you feel your calcium is too low? JUst wondering, because I was contemplating adding a doser for calcium in addition to my Calcium reactor. I always thought calcium really should be up around 480 but when I turn my CaRx flow up, alk goes up to 11 but calcium stays low. I don't like alkalinity that high.

Anyway, just interested in your thoughts.

Beautiful tank you have there Dang...your tank is very inspiring and I like the relative 'simplicity' of your maintenance regiment. Great color contrast with your corals!

I can't believe how clean your sand is. It's so full of lps's you can't even get to it to stir it up, clean it, etc. And your sump is really clean too.

Dang, that is a humongous skimmer... wow... a lot has change since i last saw your tank... keep up the good work... amazing tank!!!

thank you,,,Reefer577 :)

I miss keeping wrasses. I have no lids on my current tanks so I can't have them. Maybe after I move I'll setup a small display for some wrasses. What's your favorite wrasse Dang?
