i believe it causes the head foam to collapse thus the skimmate never making it too far up and into the cup.... but correct me if im wrong.

Reef science advertises a 110V version but Nuocean sells a 115V version NAC6. Which is correct?

I did not catch that when I looked at the websites.

The pumps are the US version meaning they will run on 110-120V.

dang i cant see the videos from work but skimmer looks bad arse!!! what size tank are you using this on? I need to hook my dad up with one of these... im currently running the bm150 and like you mine started to skim 2hrs in.... last night i kept messing around with the aquascape so the skimmer was not foaming up for anything lol.

Looks good ACE. Post some skimmate pics when you get some:)
I guess the "E" in 200E stands for Ehiem. That is a solid pump for sure. Where did you buy?

Bought in Hong Kong. It uses the Eheim 1262 rather than the 1260 hence the 2 in the code. Will post some pictures of skimmate later. Only a thin layer at the moment. Will give it a couple of days to gunk up.

I am using it on a 1000 litre system including sump. around 6x3x2 main tank

BM150

Just ordered a BM150 and was wondering what sump water depth other owners have them sitting in? I know the optimum depth can be variable per tank conditions, but am interested in your experiences with this skimmer.

man you got that sucker skimming dry!!!! lol how old is your tank? my 150 will skim that much in about 48hrs but i have it a little more wet. My tank is 3 weeks old.

this is about 4 days of skim

Skimming wet....

Or a suggestion on which BM skimmer I should get for my 30 nano cube. I do have a sump (20 gallons), so I could go w/ a bigger BM. TIA

well if you are thinking of upgrading in the future i would say you are safe with the nac6, i run a bm-100 on a 75 w/ 15 gallon sump. no reason to buy a smaller skimmer if you have room. and the price is reasonable.
