The turbulence inside the body is IMO way to much, even with the bubble plate in place its very turbulent.

dang i cant see the videos from work but skimmer looks bad arse!!! what size tank are you using this on? I need to hook my dad up with one of these... im currently running the bm150 and like you mine started to skim 2hrs in.... last night i kept messing around with the aquascape so the skimmer was not foaming up for anything lol.
