WCR meeting June 23rd at 12pm

What will be brought on my end.

One of the ceramic frag rocks.

orange digi frag, magician frag, 2 headed yodas or wobbegongs can't tell what it is due to switching from LED to halide now, ron's red something LOL forgot the name, red PPE's, 2-3 frags of Hawaiian PPE's (this also look not so good due to switching lighting in the last 2 weeks), vivid's red stingers, so I'm shooting 8-10 frags.

I need to clear out my frag rack so hoping someone will take a few colonies of ora green birds nest.. These things are like baseball/softball size and taking up too much space lol . also have some large pieces of ATL plating Monti green/w pink polyp( like seasons greetings but pink) and a couple large brownies of the sky blue acro (new growth is actual color).. Prob gonna throw in a couple others also.. Everything I have minus the acro is a good beginner SPS and are healthy and hearty.. The plate can be broken up and I have one that's cupping on a plug.. It's got the nice spiral going on one of the larger pieces. Hoping guys want these things and I don't have to deal with selling them;) . I made a few frags up of a mix of red and green monti that should be ready by the next meeting as a test to see if they get along..

Haven't been fragging to much with the home purchase going on. But this is what I'm bringing:
Daisy Duke/pink poodle zoa
2x Spider-Man zoa
Pink AOG zoa
Tyree Armageddon 2 zoa
Rasta
Pink hallucination zoa

Man, all of this talk of frags and I definitely don't have any nice zoas.

I'll be bringing some SPS sticks.

Miyagi tort, red digitata, mystic monti, ... rest TBD.
Maybe also a blue-tip green/teal "tort?" (something spiny/spindly)

Maybe a clipping of a yellow-tip cerealis.

Unfortunately, some of these may be fresh clippings.
Need to do some cutting tonight to give them time to heal.

Since most of you guys have been talking about bringing zoas I'll add some variety to the list. Among other things I'll add a frag of my Red Dragon, Purple Turaki and the Purple Bonsai to the mix. :)

My final "frag" list for the meeting: 4-large Setosa pieces
7- Miami Hurricane Chalice frags
2- mixed zoa frags
3- Bird Of Paradise frags
2- Purple Turaki frags
1- Red Dragon frag
1- Rose Garden acro
1- Purple Bonsai
1-Lime in the sky frag

I might have to snag one of the Miami hurricane frags, Lia has been bugging me to get her another one since the one she got didn't make it:)

Also, Can't wait for the meeting!!!!

I'm really looking forward to coming also.. Funny thing is I'm supposed to be cramming for a certification test on Monday but I can't miss this lol..

I should have some nice stuff a few meetings away.. I have a wholesaler hookup that I forgot about and I got back in touch with him and he's gonna let me come by in a little while after I have the new tank up for some colonies.. I think he only has softies, fish and Lps though from memory..

No problem Colin I cut 7 big pieces off of my second colony. LoL

Nick, Yes the Turaki is delicate like all of the other thin skinned corals, Hawkins, Red dragon, etc.

Ron, If that is the one I gave you I would really like a nice piece of it again. I lost the original colony a while back. Thx

Grant,
Is it this piece?
I've had two validas, not sure if this one came from you. I ask since one of my valida's RTN'd on me a while back.

If so, I'll clip a nice piece for you.
Just remember to treat it. ^_^

Thanks Ron, cut a Grant "frag" would Ya. LoL That is the one I had and it looks like its doing really well for you. Its actually a tricolor Valida I got from Vivid a long time ago. Does it have the green and blue body with large white polyps? Also I dip and even QT now whenever possible. ;)Since the rebuild I cant afford the losses pests cause. Thx again.

Grant, of course it would be a "grant" frag.

In my tank, only the flat encrusting areas are greenish. The branches are mostly purple and the polyps are white and tips are whitish. Maybe the "lower branch" bodies may be tan/orange/greenish...

Grant, wanted to check... This is not an efflo piece is it?
Coloration looks a "bit" like the 500 dollar efflo, but I think it may just be a valida or bonsai...

It is odd since it looks like it likes to encrust rather than branch up.
