I've tried TMP . I was not a fan due to the inconsistency but that's another story..

Regarding TMP,i saw that too and that was the main reason i changed it.

The second dolabella i put ate just fine and then stopped suddenly too.After only 4-5 days in the tank!Don't want to try/kill another
So now i think i'll scrab the rock and do a big WC the same day.

The reef is looking wonderful Mike, you should take a leaf out of my book and don't fiddle........... the rock scape is amazing and it looks really wild and crazy in a good way - like Bello.

Ya Mike i stop worrying about algae and let the tank take its course and mature i can't seem to keep the po4 and no3 high enough so ifeed like crazy and i am adding more fish, colors are on the lighter side but they're coming around ..so i said f it things are doing good and growing colors will come around...and fish are healthy if my tank survives when i am gone for a month then it is working the way i wanted it to be..i am able to keep wild acros and they are growing. Things are almost on auto pilot i need 1 more doser and its good to go...i only test now to confirm the way i see my acros and its consistent, i am also glad i added tropic eden reef flakes and grand select brst sand i ever used..

For cod it looks good but i haven't downloaded yet i will soon. It looks bad ***.

Tank is looking great Mike, especially the photo that's not so blue.

Your camera has a manual white balance so you can adjust it until the blues are corrected. I'd start with cloudy and then, if it's like mine, move the slider to the right until the result looks good.

It's true in many cases that,the more you mess the less success so thanks for pointing that out.
Some of your actions/points might do some good in my case too,so thanks for posting them!

As for cod the more i play the more i like it:inlove:
I hated the exos in the beginning but now i've got used moving around without using it most of the time.
Wish they'll improve lagging and hosting issue...

So guys,that HA was taking too much of the time i was willing to spend on/in my tank so i went ahead and used algeafix!
Hate to use medicine but i was just a small step before quiting the tank.
Hope the nice results i'm witnessing won't be temporary:smokin:

So before i started AF i pulled manually 5 containers of that
As you can see i even removed some corals that HA was chocking.

After a few hours rock looked like that
And the left side of the glass

I started seeing results from the 3rd dose and now the rock is really clean.
After a lot of time it looks purple again

Didn't lose any snails or saw any negative effects.
I stopped on the 8th dose.Could probably stop at the 6th but i wanted to eliminate every second thoughts i had.

As the algea was dying i saw that the snails where eating it and i relied on that.
Bad choice.They couldn't eat all of it,so what was left alone and dying,send back in the water some of the stuff it was eating.....so no3 and po4 rose and fast.
I should use some carbon
That stressed the corals and started having stn.
I made a good WC of 40-50% and now they look a little better.
Still have a long long long way to see the tank how i want to and corals rto gain their colors back.

I know you guys insisted in me not taking that seria out(previously on the right side) but i couldn't help it
It had become too big and was taking a lot of the tank's space.Plus i didn't like it that much.
Kept a small frag though
In it's place i put a "branching" piece i made.
Now....hands out of the tank....
