Thanks Kirk - the queen with her streamers is around 11" now. She is huge. She has almost tripled her size in the 3 years I have had her.

I have had him for over a year now. He eats every food that I drop in the tank and is very fat. I picked one that was eating and trained him to eat pellets.
So far no issues.

Chirs I asked my LFS that gets them in from time to time what a Moorish Idol likes to eat. Give them a Sponge every now and then. I will be honest I tried on in my 150 and gave it a sponge a month. Between it and my Passer and Emperor angel the freaking sponge lasted about 2 weeks.

I feed all my fish food that contains sponge and other goodies that the fish are used to in the wild. Plus he eats NLS pellets like tic tacs

Thanks Heuerfan! I have been collecting these guys for a long time and this is definitely my little obsession.
The table is 6 feet from the wall so unless people are playing really stupid there is no issues. Now I have set the ground rules to everyone that plays that if you touch the tank in anyway...you DIE:uzi: :beer::celeb3:

Good to know on the diet. Same here with my angels. Now if the Freaking power company can keep the grid together I might be happy. Next year getting that NG Powered whole house Genset.

Chris, is that skim from your Aqua C?!? Mine is obviously the smaller version, but I don't get anywhere near that kind of production, and my nitrates are pretty bad...Any secrets?

hey Kirk yeah it is from my AquaC EV2000. It kills. I have it on a mag36 and seriously it is one of the best skimmers I have ever used...it tuunes sooo easily.
I would switch out your pump for a more powerful one...what are you running?

Could be on to something, I might swap my Mag 18 (currently for the return) with the Mag 12 on the skimmer for a week and see what happens....If it works better I will buy another 18....Thought they discontinued the Mag 36?
