kev, take two or 3 pix and stitch them together. That is how I get my FTS.

Stunning what you have done with everything you have been thru, tanks look amazing, I have a similar problem as you, don't know when to stop, I am pushing 3 systems at 1600 gal total volume but they are all seperate, would love to combine them all to reduce equipment required. Congrats and I will be following the progress, inspirational to say the least.

I guess I am getting older than dirt because I do not want to go to the magic kingdom I want to stand in your fish house (really to big to be a fish room) and watch your tank, the pictures are cool yet they probably don't do justice to the way the depth is in person!!!

I don't know how to do all the stitching and stuff. The 2 shot is the best I can do. Can't get far enough back.

And I don't know what the word Done means..LOL. About to swap the 250 and 300 gallon tanks. I figure I can have more fun w/ the 300 as a planted tank in the window, and the 250 is going to be the tank for the puffer and Angel and what other non reef safe things things that I want to keep in a reef setting. Currently it's the other way around.

Also just need two more plumbing fittings and the 15 gallon carbon reactor will be online... I did get bored of the ghetto tank... to easy to just do it right to bother making stuff. I have most of it kicking around though. I do have all my parts for the LED hood, so maybe it will just be a frag tank... if my hair brained ideas work it should be a running 50 gallon tank on under 100 w. Less if I don't use a sump.

I ment by done that you do not have to add anything for this tank and do not be bored of this ghetto tank. It is going to look better by the time that your corals will grow.

I would like to see it as a frag tank :)

thanks. I think I'm just going to drill it and use it as a frag tank and try out my lighting ideas on it. Easier place to put corals when I bring them home rather than trying to figure out where to put them in the tank right away...

Also want to try out this LED hood I built.. if I ever finish t.

we are going to have a group buy on cree LEDS coming up fere in a few weeks . if you build your own it saves you almost half . nevermind the operating costs . that is the reason i am going to go with the leds . on a tank the size of yours you almost have no choice.l

I am building my own LED fixture. And a little differently than most people are doing it. We shall see if it works...

yeah how are you doing kevin? Ive been following along and looks like the tank is coming along, but how are you doing? Hows the health? Are the doctors still giving you a hard time? Taking any good meds?(if so send some my way lol)

Still not dead... no insurance so no seeing docs. Have a decent stash of the stuff I have to take, so hopefully that lasts...

LOL... I knew someone else had that problem. Didn't know there was already a program for it. I wonder if I could get my hands on one of those ignition interlock things for people w/ DUI's Just rig it to the keyboard...

hmmm...

I need a swift kick in the hind quarters to go clean the tank and empty the skimmer... the 5 gallon bucket is about to overflow..
