I just joined RC a week or so ago and im happy to say i'm learning alot!
I have been in the saltwater world for a while now just over 6 years and before that i raised show qualty bettas and guppies! The saltwater bug hit me and im hooked! I down graded all of my freshwater tanks over time and now i have ZERO (0) freshwater tanks at the moment their all full of saltwater critters...
Here's what i have without boring everyone with the specifics...
I have a 125 gallon reef/livestock tank with several small coral frags from pulsating xenias to the most rare and expensive frag in my collection a RED SYMPHYLLIA WILSONI!! I have a total of 47 frags in this tank and 12 fish including clowns, lion fish, puffers, and a small hammer head that im hold onto for a buddy (which he needs to come get because he's growing pretty quick)....
I also have a 100 gallon seahorse tank! I love this tank because there's so much color!! I have a bunch or gorgonians (sp.?) and fan corals in with these guys and galls and they seem to be thriving! I have reidi horses in this particular tank and currently have 27 adults and hundreads of fry in grow out tanks and keisel set-ups.
I also have a 75 gallon seahorse tank set-up with southern erectus horses. This tank also has gorgonians and sea fans as well. I have 23 adults in this tank and at last count 57 colts of the erectus.
I also have a 55 gallon show tank with alot of variety in it... I have some clowns, some tangs, some lion fish, some damsels, an eel, and a few horses in this set-up along with a few corals.
I also have several 10 and 20 gallon tanks with dwarf seahorses and these guys grow like guppies! I started out with 5 pairs from ccritters.com and have bought several more from them, but i currently have over 100 adults and 2-300 babies!
I also have a few 29 gallons full of phytoplankton water for the dwarfs seahorses... along with 8-10 gallons tanks set-up for daily brine shrimp hatching to feed the dwarf seahorses...
So thats pretty much my addiction and hopefully you enjoyed! I would post a few pictures, but not sure how exactly yet on this website... Thanks!!
