Thanks guys! Tank will be here Friday!

Small update, finished the tile where the stand will be, will lay the tack strips tomorrow after grout is dry and butt the carpet directly against tile:

Finally there! Great. Hope everything is going well. Setup is a lot of fun.

How was moving it? Looked like you had 4 guys? Was it a struggle or was 4 ok? I'm not sure what to expect in terms of the difficulty moving it. Any advice?

Are you going to install the glass- holes overflow? Felix is putting in the reef savvy version for me.

Finally the bad boy get in home!!!

Look at this, the guys from Reef Savvy really know what to do, uh?!

last but not least, that's awesome thread, I really like your stand and canopy :)

about the tank, what the dimensions and glass thickness? and one more question, what type of overflow are you going to use?

more pics, more pics, pore pics! :bounce1: :bounce3: :bounce1:

Thanks Michael, its been a long journey so far but well worth it. Moving it wasn't terrible. The tank had to go around the house to the backyard since it would've been very difficult to get through the front door. The guys decided to lift the tank and the pallet all at once to the back door. The 4 guys were able to do it with taking a few breaks along the way. I must say I was pretty scared when watching them. Once they got it to the sliding glass door they put foam on the floor inside the house and basically slid it off the pallet onto the foam, they basically slid the tank through the house while using pieces of foam. Once they got it in front of the stand all 4 of them plus myself and my neighbor lifted it onto the stand with no problem. The whole process took less than an hour.

The overflow I am using a regular glass holes 1500gph which I had purchased prior to ordering the tank. I had sent Felix the template for the two holes that gl*******s provided. I will be running the return over the rim of the tank.

Thank you Euler, Reef Savvy definitely knows what they are doing when building tanks, it really is a work of art. The dimensions are 72x24x29 low iron glass. Since we kept the height under 30" I believe it is 1/2" glass. 30" or above would have needed 3/4" and increased the price substantially. I will be using the 1500gph glass-holes.com overflow.

Thank you everyone. Still have much to do, will post pics or even video of the skimmer in action once the equipment room is setup.
