As for lighting cost is not a concern. I only want to do this once. Do I use 12 units from Aqua Illuminations? Or do I use tried and true 4 metal halide fixtures with actinic’s.
It is going to be a mixed reef

120" X 48Deep X 30" tall.

I hired ADG to move the AGE tank in. He does a lot of tanks in medical centers & businesses. He has the lifts, & equipment to get it thru the window.

All I have to provide is extra man power to flip back on its bottom. He is picking it up next week.

No build thread yet, waiting til it gets here.

Lighting- Using 20 AI's. Tired of MH & VHO heat. I am in Texas & it was 109 yesterday.

Going to pick out new carpet today for the wife. I need to get it installed before the tank gets here.

i cured about 300 pounds in a tank in my garage i added 2 part to get my alk.cal and mag and did at least 50 to 75 percent water changes weekly in about 8 weeks i had purple coralline everwere

6x17x6 doesn't look that big for a tank that size.

The tank experts Worldwide Corals and the builders A.G.E. think it should be enough. They do this for a living.

I had it down to 3 builders: Miracles, Reef Savvy, and A.G.E. I picked A.G.E. I have heard nothing but good from all 3. It was a hard choice. they were all very professional on the phone and by email. I liked the traditional bracing with the stainless steel A.G.E. used. I also liked the ¾ pcv bottoms A.G.E uses.

oh yea did u have them made an extra hole on bottom so its easier to drain water from tank for water change??

No. I will do water changes in basement. Sump is in basement. I will have a pvc pipe from sump to floor drain.
