Have you thought about Internal vs. External skimmers. Even though I don't have a system of this size, most I have seen this large use External skimmers.

Looking good David and subscribed to thread. Before moving to my new house I had the SRO 3000 internal and cannot say anything but good things about the skimmer. Performed great and was always reliable. When building my 400-500 gallon DT I'm thinking of using the SRO 3000 INT in combination with an external unit but still way too early in planning at this point.

***I will give you a call early next week to discuss the tank:)

Another vote for the sro xp skimmer. Im using the 5000 on my lightly stocked 600g and I agree with the others that it is a work horse. With the 3 yr warranty its a great skimmer for the money. I got mine from Reef Specialty.

Whoo who. I just got an email from Worldwide corals. My tank is finished and created and ready to ship.
A.G.E. was way faster estimated.

Cabinet man just left. I think we are going with a Mission style for stand and canopy.
I am using a real carpenter cus I want it to look like a real carpenter built it.
I was thinking 20” tall for the canopy. Will this be too tall too short? I am going with Aqua Illumination as of now. This might change once I get back from Des Moines
