It helped with the micro bubbles in my system although my skimmer and return pump are close together.

Beautiful tank! The sro skimmers are an exception to the typical rule of thumb..If it says its rated for a certain gallon tank then you can make it on that one.

For my sump I am using 2- 100 gallon rubber made tubes. This way I will enough water in basement for water changes. I tied the two tubs together with 2” pvc. All water will drain into one tube. The returns will pump from the other tub. The bottom of the tubs is at a slant so I had to use rubber to connect

The skimmer won’t be in tub ( it is temp as it is running my 33 frag)

I am using 2 returns an iwaki 100 it is going to be teed off to run my 33 frag as well. The 2nd return is an iwaki 70. I plan on 2000 gph. If the overflow will handle it I will push more.
